- This multimedia CD-ROM has the following System requirements:

- -Windows:Intel Pentium processor
- -Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT 4.0
- with Service Pack 6, Windows 2000 with Service Pack 2, Windows XP Professional or
- Home Edition, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition
- -128MB of RAM 60MB of available hard-disk space
- -Internet Explorer 5.01, 5.5, 6.0, or 6.1
- -CD-ROM drive capable of reading CD-R media

- SOFTWARE:
- -Adobe Reader 6.0 or later
- -QuickTime 6.5 or later
- If you do not have this software, the installation program is included for Acrobat
- Reader 6.0, QuickTime must be downloaded from apple.com.
- If you cannot install this version of Reader due to company policy or any other
- reason, and want to use an older version of Reader that is already installed on
- your machine, you may do so but some features will be disabled. The index created
- for the search function will not work. Acrobat will prompt an error dialog box
- stating the index associated with document cannot be found. You will still be able
- to access the audio and speaker materials (where provided). There are also other
- features that may not work unless you use Reader 6.0 or later.

- GETTING STARTED...
- The disc should automatically launch with instructions on the installation of the
- required software, if you already have the required software you can click the
- continue button. If you need to install the software, click the "install" links
- and follow the installation instructions when prompted. Please restart your
- computer after installing new software. This will ensure that everything functions
- properly.

- If the CD-ROM does not launch automatically...
- Under "My Computer" double click on the CD-ROM drive containing the disc. If it
- still does not launch, double click on "shellexe.exe". At the Installations stage,
- you will be given the option of installing the required programs.

- You may also find the Reader installer by doing the following:
-
- 1. Right Click on the CD-ROM Icon and select Explore
- 2. Open the "reader" folder
- 3. Double Click on the AdbeRdr708.exe Icon
- 4. Follow on screen instructions until installation is complete

- If you need to install QuickTime 6, do the following:
-
- 1. go to http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/
- 2. download the free player
- 3. follow installation instructions:
- 4. Click "Next" or "Agree" during the installation process unless you need to
- modify the default installation directory. QuickTime will then install the
- necessary files and create a group in your Programs section of your Start Menu.
- 5. Immediately following the installation of the files and creating the shortcuts
- program group, the QuickTime Setup Assistant will open in a window on top of the
- just completed installation. Click "Next", then "Next" again unless you are an
- advanced user who needs to modify some of the MIME settings. We ask you not change
- these unless you feel confident in doing so.
- 6. Note: Immediately after clicking "Next" on the page asking if you want to
- modify your MIME settings, you will be presented with a window about assigning
- File Types to the QuickTime application. If QuickTime is not associated with
- Macintosh file types (*.mov), the links to the audio will not work. The other
- associations further integrate the QuickTime application open picture types.

- Accessing raw MP3 files:

- You may access the raw MP3 files on this CD-ROM if you wish to burn a session to
- an audio CD for using on a stereo. You must have a CD burner. Right click on the
- CD-ROM icon (My Computer) and select explore. Find the folder named "audio" and
- open it. Copy the file you wish to burn to your desktop (or somewhere on your
- computer where you can find it later). The audio files are named according to the
- session number that corresponds the to the session number in this CD-ROM or the
- order form. Once you have copied the MP3 to your computer, follow the instructions
- for burning audio files that accompanies your CD burning software. Remember that
- one audio CD can hold up to 80 minutes of audio. The sessions recorded are an
- average of 60 minutes.
